SurvivorWeb Background:The SurvivorWeb concept was developed to serve as our "playground" in order to test new ideas, concepts, and technology. Most of all, we saw it as an opportunity to develop a community-based online experience for fans of the American television show Survivor.
With a built-in audience of 250,000 visitors a month, SurvivorWeb allows us to test our software under the most extreme "real-world" testing environments. We are able to monitor and manage usage patterns, create dialog and get immediate user feedback on virtually anything we develop.
All technical and practical reasons aside, we are also Survivor fans and enjoy providing this space for like-minded individuals to expand their viewing experiences.
SurvivorWeb Team:
The SurvivorWeb team is comprised of a group of volunteers that make the site breath and function. Halcyon Group provides the hosting, design and back-end support, while the rest of the community strives under their own stewardship. This open community model allows a truly organic experience for site visitors to enjoy.
The "Producer" of the SurvivorWeb series is also the founding member of our creative team. His role is to ensure the site remains focused on the goal of becoming the most reliable source for information, discussion and resources related to Survivor. The Producer is also responsible for managing the various volunteers and contributing writers to the site. If you have any questions regarding site operations, the Producer is the person to contact.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via the website feedback form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
